DUBLIN — Justin Jefferson reached another Vikings milestone Sunday — and did so in the NFL's first regular-season game in Ireland.

The global superstar passed Vikings Legend Anthony Carter for third on Minnesota's receiving yardage leaderboard.

Carter totaled 7,636 receiving yards in the No. 81 jersey for Minnesota from 1985-93.

Jefferson coincidentally passed Carter in his 81st career game. He opened the day just 5 yards shy and picked up enough on his second catch of the game.

Carson Wentz found "Jets" for a gain of 4 yards near the right sideline on the Vikings first play from scrimmage and went back to the 26-year-old phenom for 9 yards on play No. 3, completing a short pass to his left.

The duo connected again for 22 yards over the middle to break into Pittsburgh's red zone and then linked up a fourth time for 3 yards, giving Jefferson as many total receptions from last week on the team's initial drive.

The early production helped position kicker Will Reichard for a 41-yard field goal and Minnesota a 3-0 lead at Dublin's Croke Park.

Jefferson now only trails Pro Football Hall of Famers Cris Carter (12,383) and Randy Moss (9,316) in franchise history.
