EAGAN, Minn. – The Minnesota Vikings on Tuesday announced the signing of Josh Rosen to their practice squad.

The 25-year-old from California is joining the Vikings after being waived by the Cleveland Browns on Oct. 10, 2022.

Originally a first-round pick by Arizona (10th overall in 2018), the UCLA product played in 14 games (13 starts) as a rookie and completed 217 of 393 passes for 2,278 yards and 11 touchdowns.

Rosen was then traded to Miami in April 2019 and has since spent time with Tampa Bay, San Francisco, Atlanta and Cleveland.

Over three seasons at UCLA (2015-17), the former Bruin completed 712 of 1,170 passes for 9,370 passing yards and 59 touchdowns.

The Vikings were left with an opening at the role of practice squad QB after David Blough was signed to Arizona's 53-man roster last week.
