EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Wednesday signed a wave of players to their practice squad.

Minnesota (3-0) added running backs Audric Estime and Devin Neal, plus outside linebacker Keshawn Banks, punter Johnny Hekker and guard Josh Priebe as it prepares to host Miami (0-3).

Hekker spent the offseason with the club and re-signed to the PS last week after Brett Thorson sustained a hamstring injury in Week 2. The 36-year-old Hekker was elevated to the 53-man roster for Minnesota's game at Tampa and had a busy sunbaked afternoon, punting eight times for an average of 46.5 yards.

Estime and Neal were fifth- and sixth-round picks of the Broncos and Saints in 2024 and 2025, respectively, and both played most recently for New Orleans before they were waived due to injury.

In his final two college seasons at Notre Dame, Estime (5-foot-11, 227 pounds) rushed for 2,261 yards (6.2 avg.) and tallied 29 touchdowns. He appeared in 13 games with one start as a rookie in Denver and gained 310 yards and two touchdowns on 76 carries (4.1 avg.). He played seven contests with one start in 2025 on the Saints and ran 46 times for 198 yards (4.3 avg.) and a score.

Neal (5-foot-11, 213 pounds) compiled three consecutive 1,000-yard seasons at Kansas and finished his four-year career there with 4,343 rushing yards (5.7 avg.) in addition to 711 receiving yards and 55 total touchdowns. He started three games for the Saints last season and toted the rock 57 times for 206 yards (3.6 avg.) and two scores. Neal also caught 17 passes for 104 yards.

Banks (6-foot-3, 251 pounds) entered the league with Green Bay in 2023 as an undrafted free agent out of San Diego State. He spent his rookie season on the Packers practice squad then bounced to the Patriots and Cardinals in 2024. He was selected in the 2026 UFL Draft by the Orlando Storm and notched 24 tackles and 5.0 sacks over 10 games with the Storm before he returned to the NFL with the Falcons in June.

In five seasons at SDSU, Banks recorded 139 tackles, including 42 for a loss, and 13 sacks.

Priebe (6-foot-5, 300 pounds) played at Michigan (2024) after Northwestern (2020-23), and he is reuniting with a couple of his college teammates in Vikings fullback Max Bredeson (Wolverines) and OL Caleb Tiernan (Wildcats). Priebe began his NFL career as a UDFA with the Dolphins last season.

The depth, especially at running back, could be key for the Vikings as they navigate a stretch of games without co-starter Jordan Mason, who had thumb surgery following Minnesota's Week 1 victory.
