EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Tuesday signed receiver Jeshaun Jones to their practice squad.
Jones first joined Minnesota as an undrafted rookie free agent after the 2024 NFL Draft.
He spent training camp and the preseason with the Vikings, highlighted by his 71-yard touchdown reception at Cleveland and finished the exhibition slate with five receptions for 90 yards.
Jones was released during roster reductions on Aug. 29. The native of Fort Myers, Florida, played in 48 games at Maryland (2018-23), recording 151 receptions for 2,040 yards and 14 touchdowns.
To make room for Jones, the Vikings released cornerback Jaylin Williams from the practice squad.
Williams appeared in three games for Minnesota in 2023 as an undrafted rookie free agent.
