Inside Vikings Locker Room: Preparing for the Cardinals

The Vikings hit the field for the final day of full practice before they head to Arizona tomorrow afternoon. With such a short week, players have put Sunday's game behind them and have keyed in on Thursday night's opponent.

Adrian Peterson was disappointed after the game after only getting 8 carries, but his focused changed as soon as he stepped in Winter Park on Monday.

Injuries have put the Vikings in a tough spot but the message has been next man up. For LB Chad Greenway that means he could have the green dot on his helmet and relay the plays from the coaches to the guys on the field, something he's familiar with.

After watching tape, Sharrif Floyd took note of the playmakers on the Cardinals offense, but that doesn't mean they are specifically looking at one or two guys. He says that they have to go out and make sure that they make plays on the ball rather than on players.

Thursday's game marks the first time that Stefon Diggs has the quick turnaround in his short NFL career. He mentioned that he has compete confidence in this team and the primetime game gives them a chance to showcase it to the country.

Xavier Rhodes has appeared in a Thursday Night Football game in each of his first two seasons, so for him this is nothing out of the ordinary.
