SATURDAY UPDATE - The Vikings changed LB Eric Kendricks' status to out for Saturday's game due to a biceps injury, and added RB Kene Nwangwu (illness) to the injury report. He's questionable for Sunday's game.
EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Friday ruled out running back Dalvin Cook (shoulder), tackle Christian Darrisaw (ankle) and safety Camryn Bynum (ankle) ahead of Sunday's game against the Lions in Detroit.
Minnesota listed linebackers Eric Kendricks (biceps) and Anthony Barr (knee/hamstring) as questionable.
Cornerback Mackensie Alexander (ribs) also was listed as questionable.
None of the other players on Minnesota's injury report — DT Dalvin Tomlinson (not injury related), DT Sheldon Richardson (knee), LB Ryan Connelly (quadriceps), CB Bashaud Breeland (groin), Nick Vigil (ribs) and DT Armon Watts (knee) — received a designation for the game.

Defensive tackle Michael Pierce was designated for return from Injured Reserve on Wednesday, beginning an evaluation period that can last up to 21 days before Minnesota must activate him or end his season. He hasn't played since Week 4.
