Hot Matchup: QB Teddy Bridgewater vs. QB Jay Cutler

The two QBs in Sunday's Vikings-Bears game are both coming off impressive performances last week and were both instrumental in the outcome of the Week 8 matchup between the two teams. As such, Teddy Bridgewater and Jay Cutler are the subjects of this week's Ticketmaster Hot Matchup.

In a Thursday night thriller last week, Bridgewater threw for a career-high 335 yards and added a TD, as well. It wasn't enough to lead his team to victory, as the Vikings fell 23-20 to Arizona, but the performance was impressive particularly because it came against the 4th-ranked Cardinals defense. Cutler and the Bears also lost by three points last week, but it wasn't because of a lack of production from the passing game. Cutler threw for 315 yards and 2 TDs in the loss.

The 335 yards by Bridgewater was second among all NFL QBs in Week 14 and Cutler's 315-yard output was the 3rd-best among all QBs in Week 14.

Going back to the Week 8 matchup between the Vikings and Bears, Cutler had the better box score. He was 22 of 33 for 211 yards with 1 TD. But Bridgewater was on point when it mattered most, completing 6 of 7 passes for 106 yards and 1 TD in the final 3:34 of the 4th quarter to help lead the Vikings to a 23-20 win at Soldier Field, the Vikings first win at Chicago since 2007.
