Vikings vs. Packers is a storied rivalry, and two of the most decorated players in the rivalry's history will share the field on Sunday. While they won't take the field at the same time, Adrian Peterson and Aaron Rodgers will go toe-to-toe at TCF Bank Stadium this weekend. They are the subject of this week's Ticketmaster Hot Matchup.

Rodgers and the Packers started the season hot, winning their first six games. In that stretch, Rodgers completed 68.1% of his passes for 1,491 yards with 15 TDs and only 2 INTs for a passer rating of 115.9. Peterson and the Vikings began the season 2-2, but since that .500 start have ripped off five consecutive wins. In that stretch, Peterson has 589 rushing yards, including two 100-yard games and one 200-yard game; Peterson is the NFL's leading rusher.

On Sunday, Rodgers and Co. will look to get back on track while Peterson and the Vikings will look to keep their surge going.

Keeping things going hasn't been a problem for either Rodgers or Peterson in this rivalry. In 14 starts against the Vikings, Rodgers has a 10-4 record, a 32-4 TD-INT ratio and a passer rating of 117.9. In 15 games against the Packers, Peterson has 1,747 rushing yards and 11 rushing TDs; he also has eight games with 100+ rushing yards and three games of 200+ total yards.

Aside from individual success in this rivalry, Peterson and Rodgers also have MVP honors as commonalities. Peterson was named NFL MVP in 2012 and Rodgers received the honor in both 2011 and 2014.
