A former Mike Zimmer starting middle LB, a recent Super Bowl champion and a Minnesota native highlight today's look-ahead to the 2015 free agency class. Whether the Vikings want to add a long-term starter or find a one-year rotational player, those ranked within the 71-80 group by NFL.com may have some upside to offer.

Note: The rankings by NFL.com are subject to change because teams may release players in the coming days, causing them to hit the market.

71. LB Brooks Reed 72. DT Kendall LangfordThe Vikings agreed to a flurry of one-year deals in free agency last year and if Langford doesn't receive any attractive long-term offers on the market he could be a candidate for a one-year run in Zimmer's defense as a rotational player, similar to what Tom Johnson was in 2014.
73. TE Jermaine Gresham 74. LB Rey MaualugaMore than any free agent in the entire class, Maualuga will be linked to the Vikings because of his past experience playing for Zimmer in Cincinnati in addition to the fact that the Vikings do not have last year's starting middle LB – Jasper Brinkley – under contract.
75. DE Jarvis Jenkins 76. S Mike Adams 77. LB Akeem AyersWhether he's a scheme fit or not in Minnesota is a question for the coaches to decide. What we do know about Ayers is he's just 25 years old with only four seasons of wear on the tread, and he plays a position the Vikings are likely to address this offseason both in free agency and the draft.

78. WR Hakeem Nicks 79. DE Karl KlugNever a regular starter in four seasons with the Tennessee Titans, Klug hits the market now and may be another one-year option for the Vikings if he doesn't receive the kind of long-term deal he covets and deserves.
80. S Tyvon Branch
