EAGAN, Minn. – Vikings receiver Dede Westbrook has been activated off the Reserve/COVID-19 list, the team announced Tuesday.

Westbrook was sidelined for Monday night's game at Chicago due to COVID-19 protocols.

If he returns to practice at full-strength this week, his return to the lineup bolsters the Vikings depth at receiver. Westbrook also could step back into his role as Minnesota's primary punt returner.

Through 12 games this season, Westbrook has nine catches for 64 yards. On special teams, he's returned 22 punts for 183 yards (8.3 average).

The Vikings made a handful of other roster moves, as well.

A.J. Rose, Jr., and Trishton Jackson were activated off the Practice Squad/COVID-19 list. The Vikings concurrently released Rose, as well as Darrius Shepherd, from the practice squad.

Minnesota additionally signed guard Dakota Dozier to the active roster from the team's practice squad.

Dozier, who started all 16 games at left guard for the Vikings in 2020, has played in three games for the team this season.
