WARE, Hertfordshire, England — The Vikings on Saturday activated fullback C.J. Ham from Reserve/Injured ahead of facing the Browns in London in Week 5.

Ham began the season on short-term Injured Reserve and returned to practice this week as the Vikings prepared for their second of consecutive International Series games.

Ham's first action of 2025 will occur at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, where he scored a 2-yard touchdown in the Vikings win over the Jets last season.

Minnesota additionally placed veteran center Ryan Kelly on Injured Reserve. Kelly left Minnesota's Week 4 game against the Steelers at Dublin in concussion protocol. It was the second time he left a game in concussion protocol this season.

The Vikings also announced signing of interior offensive lineman Vershon Lee from their practice squad to the 53-man roster and the use of standard elevations from the practice squad for interior offensive lineman Henry Byrd and running back Cam Akers.

Lee is an undrafted rookie out of South Carolina. Byrd made his NFL debut by playing eight snaps on special teams against Cincinnati in Week 3. Akers rushed five times for 19 yards against the Bengals to open his third stint with Minnesota.

Minnesota announced Desmond Ridder, who has been Minnesota's emergency QB since J.J. McCarthy suffered a high ankle sprain during Week 2, has been waived. McCarthy was ruled out Friday, and Carson Wentz will make his third start for Minnesota.
