EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings on Wednesday announced they have promoted Ryan Grigson and Demitrius Washington to Assistant General Manager positions.
Grigson previously held the role of Senior Vice President of Player Personnel, and Washington held the role of Vice President of Football Operations.
Although their backgrounds are distinctly different and each took a unique path to the Vikings, they've blended efforts into building Minnesota's roster through free agency, the draft and signing undrafted free agents.
"We're proud of the continued growth and evolution of our entire football staff as we enter 2025," Vikings General Manager Kwesi Adofo-Mensah said. "Our success is built on the dedication of our talented individuals who bring unique strengths to the table as we push forward to our ultimate goal of bringing a championship to Minnesota."
The Vikings announced the following promotions:
Terrell Barnes – Assistant Equipment Manager
Milan Burgess – Manager, Team Operations
Luke Burson – Senior Director of Football Information Systems
Taylor Brooks – Senior Player Personnel Analyst
Mike Desplenter – Senior Database Administrator
Quinn Gjersvig – Director of Family Engagement
Ryan Grigson – Assistant General Manager
Michelle Mankoff – College Area Scout (Northeast)
Demitrius Washington – Assistant General Manager
Connor Whicker – Associate Head Athletic Trainer
The Vikings also updated the titles of the following employees:
Matt Duhamel – Director of Sports Medicine
Jake Essler – College Area Scout (Midwest)
Chuck Petersen – Senior Manager, Team Operations/Liaison to Player Personnel
Dan Ridenour – Assistant Strength Coach/Head of Applied Sports Science
Pat Roberts – Senior College Executive
The Vikings announced the following new hire:
Ella Pearson – Football Video Coordinator
