10 Vikings-Rams Numbers of Note: Vikings Have 5 Consecutive Wins for 3rd Straight Season

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — The Vikings are 7-2 and return home for the first time in almost a month as they welcome the Rams to U.S. Bank Stadium. 

Minnesota won its first game after its bye week by scoring a season-high 38 points in a victory at Washington.

The noon (CT) matchup features a pair of division matchups as the Vikings lead the NFC North while Los Angeles is in first place in the NFC West.

The Rams are also 7-2 after getting a 33-7 win over Houston this past Sunday.

Here's a look at 10 numbers of note headed into the matchup:

5 — Games with at least 90 receiving yards for Adam Thielen, the most among pass catchers in the NFL; Thielen's 56 receptions are tied for seventh, and his 793 yards are third in the league. He also has at least five catches in each game this season.

32.9 — Points per game scored by the Rams offense, the best mark in the NFL; Minnesota's defense ranks tied for fifth in the league by allowing just 18.3 points per game.

4 — Touchdown passes thrown by Case Keenum on Sunday in Washington, a career high for the Vikings quarterback; Rams quarterback Jared Goff's career high is also four touchdowns, which he threw earlier this month against the Giants.

19 —Takeaways for the Rams defense this season, which leads the NFL; Los Angeles has 12 interceptions and seven fumble recoveries. The Vikings have 11 total takeaways, including eight picks.

10 — Sacks allowed by the Vikings offensive line in 2017, which is second-best in the NFL; Minnesota had allowed 24 through nine games in 2016. The Rams rank fifth, having surrendered 13 sacks this season.
