10 Vikings-Rams Numbers of Note: Cousins Ranks 2nd in NFL in Passing Yards 

EAGAN, Minn. — The Vikings are ready for the West Coast.

Minnesota is 1-1-1 on the season and will hit the road for a Thursday night tilt against the Los Angeles Rams in Week 4.

The Vikings are looking to bounce back from a poor showing against the Bills in which Minnesota lost 27-6 at home.

Los Angeles is a perfect 3-0 and sits atop the NFC West.

Both teams won their respective divisions in 2017.

Here's a look at 10 numbers of note heading into Thursday's matchup:

32 — Adam Thielen has 32 receptions so far in 2018, which ranks third all-time in NFL history for the most receptions through the opening three games of a season behind Saints wide receiver Michael Thomas (38 in 2018) and Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones (34 in 2015).

965 — Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins ranks second in the NFL with 965 passing yards. His counterpart on Thursday night, Rams quarterback Jared Goff, ranks third with 942 passing yards.

3 — Harrison Smith is one of three players in the NFL to have multiple sacks and an interception in 2018. Bears defensive end Khalil Mack and Chargers safety Derwin James are the others.

41 — The Rams offense ranks first in the NFL with 41 first downs achieved, and are first in the league by having the lowest three-and-out percentage at 6.9 percent.

26 — Thursday night's game marks the first time in 26 years that the Vikings will play the Rams in Los Angeles. The previous seven road games against the Rams took place in St. Louis.

7 — The Vikings have played the Rams seven times in the playoffs, which is tied with Dallas for the most playoff matchups in Minnesota's franchise history. The Vikings are 5-2 all-time in postseason play against the Rams.

12 — The Rams defense ranks first in the NFL by allowing 12.0 points per game. Minnesota ranks 17th at 24.0 points per game.

2 — Vikings running back Latavius Murray had two touchdowns and 95 yards against the Rams in Week 11 of the 2017 season. That is one of six games in Murray's career with multiple touchdowns in a game.

1— Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer's first career win came in Week 1 of the 2014 season. Zimmer is 3-0 in his career against the Rams.
