Cleveland was an all-state selection on the defensive line at Bethel High School in Washington but he also excelled on the offensive line and his wrestling background helped Boise coaches decide to put him in front of the quarterback. He redshirted in 2016, then stepped into the starting left tackle role for all 14 games in 2017, garnering honorable mention All-Mountain West honors. Cleveland got onto the NFL radar as a sophomore, earning first-team all-conference notice as a 13-game starter on the blind side. He was a first-team All-MWC pick again as a junior, starting 13 games at his left tackle spot in his final season on campus. - NFL.com
