U.S. Bank Hometown Hero: Hunter Johnson

Sunday’s Hometown Hero was Hunter Johnson, who became the Vikings “GM for a Day” during training camp with help from Make-A-Wish Minnesota. Hunter was born with Spina Bifida and hydrocephalus, which requires him to wear a shunt to drain excess from his brain. Last year, it was found that the shunt was malfunctioning and causing fluid to drain improperly. He also has an Arnold-Chiari malformation and a syrinx (a fluid-filled cavity within the spinal cord).
