Mason Cole joins the Minnesota Vikings after spending the first three years of his career with the Arizona Cardinals where he appeared in 46 career games with 32 starts. Originally a third-round selection (97th overall) in the 2018 NFL Draft out of the University of Michigan, Cole has made 30 of his 32 career starts at center, with the others coming at left guard in 2019 in Weeks 9 and 10 against San Francisco and Tampa Bay, respectively. Cole started all 16 games as a rookie in 2018 and all 14 games he appeared in during the 2020 campaign at center. In four seasons at Michigan (2014-17), Cole started all 51 games setting a school record for an offensive lineman and tying the overall record for a Wolverines player. Cole is a native of Tarpon Springs, Florida, and married his wife, Madison, during the 2020 offseason.
