Rick Dennison

Senior Offensive Advisor

Entering his 3rd season with the Vikings in 2021, Rick Dennison serves as the club's Senior Offensive Advisor. In his 27th season as an NFL coach in 2021, Dennison has been part of 13 playoff appearances, 5 division titles, and 3 Super Bowl victories- XXXII, XXXIII and 50.

Dennison has been a part of winning programs throughout his career, posting a .500 or better record in 20 of his 26 NFL seasons and has 12 seasons of 10+ wins under his belt in the NFL. His 17 seasons in Denver resulted in 3 Super Bowl titles, 8 playoff appearances, 4 AFC West titles and 8 seasons of 10+ wins while only suffering 2 losing seasons.

The 2020 Vikings ranked #4 in total offense in the NFL, spurred by a balanced attack that resulted in a career year for RB Dalvin Cook. The NFL's 2nd-leading rusher with 1,557 yards, Cook ranked 3rd in Vikings history in yards and his 16 rushing TDs is the 2nd-best mark by a Viking. The #4 ranking in NFL total offense was a 12-spot jump from 2019 and the highest ranking for the club since 2004. Cook was a Pro Bowl selection for the 2nd straight year and rookie WR Justin Jefferson was a 2nd-Team AP All-Pro, Pro Bowler and PFWA All-Rookie choice while setting a team rookie record for catches (88) and NFL roookie record for yards (1,400).
