Vote For Barr As Pepsi Rookie of the Week

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. — Anthony Barr's game-winning, 27-yard touchdown return of a fumble he forced and recovered Sunday has placed the Vikings linebacker in the running for the Pepsi Rookie of the Week.

Barr forced a fumble by Tampa Bay rookie tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins on the first play of overtime, scooped the ball and won a footrace to the end zone for a dramatic 19-13 Vikings win.

It was part of an effort that included nine tackles (six solo) credited to Barr by Vikings coaches, a quarterback sack and three QB hurries. Barr helped Minnesota's defense limit Tampa Bay to 225 net yards, 15 first downs and 1-for-12 on third-down conversions.
