On Tuesday the Vikings announced that the club has signed TE Dominique Jones to the practice squad. Jones replaced TE Chase Ford, who was signed to the Baltimore Ravens' 53-man roster.

Previously this season, Jones has had brief practice squad stints with the Baltimore Ravens and New York Giants respectively. Prior to his arrival in Baltimore, Jones spent the latter part of 2014 on the Denver Broncos active roster before being released following the 2015 preseason. The San Diego, Calif., native has also spent time on other active rosters across the league: the Buffalo Bills, Kansas City Chiefs, Indianapolis Colts and Miami Dolphins. He originally entered the NFL with Indianapolis as an undrafted free agent out of Shepherd University. Jones has appeared in 13 career games (three starts), recording three receptions for 42 yards.
