Vikings Sign Chase Ford to Practice Squad, Release Brock Vereen

The Vikings announced on Friday that the team has signed TE Chase Ford to the practice squad, and released S Brock Vereen.

Ford was waived from the active roster on Wednesday, when the Vikings signed free agent LB Jason Trusnik to the 53-man roster.

The tight end had 23 receptions, 258 yards and one touchdown in 2014. Ford is in the middle of his third season in the NFL.
