• This is the Vikings first win over the Jets since 1975 when the Vikings won 29-21 in the only meeting between Hall of Fame QB's, Fran Tarkenton & Joe Namath.   The Vikings are now 2-8 vs. the Jets.

• The touchdown at the start of the game was the fastest defensive score in team history; tied the team single-game record for fastest score of any kind.
