Since its formal launch in 2010, Vikings Entertainment Network (VEN) has continually increased its quality content offerings. Its honor roll is continuing to expand, as well.
VEN received 7 nominations for the 2015 Upper Midwest Regional EMMY® Awards, which will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel at Mall of America in Bloomington, Minn. on Saturday, October 3. In its history, VEN has been awarded eight Emmy Awards, including two last year.
Initially set up to cover Vikings press conferences and community events for vikings.com, VEN has grown into a production unit capable of producing content ranging from commercial spots to web segments, highlight videos, and live programming, as well as television and radio shows.
"We are hoping to continue growth. We have a platform in vikings.com that caters to the demands of our fan base and we have a solid content distributing strategy," said Bryan Harper, VEN Executive Producer. "With a new stadium on the horizon, VEN will only become more visible. It is our job to make sure the content is high quality and relevant for our fans."
