MINNEAPOLIS — The Vikings 49-17 defeat of the Giants on Sunday secured Minnesota's first postseason berth since 2012.
With one week of games to play, there Vikings could land in one of three seeds, depending on next week.
If the Vikings (10-5) defeat the Packers (10-5), they will secure the No. 3 seed in the NFC Playoffs.
If the Vikings lose to the Packers, Green Bay secures the No. 3 seed, and Minnesota will be in the No. 5 or No. 6 seed, depending on what Seattle (9-6) does at Arizona (13-2).
If Seattle and Minnesota both lose, the Vikings would be the No. 5 seed and visit NFC East champ Washington (8-7).
Seattle holds a tiebreaker over Minnesota if they wind up with identical records. Green Bay has a tiebreaker over Seattle.
