Vikings Announce Roster Moves

Eagan, Minn. (April 15, 2019) – The Minnesota Vikings announce the following roster moves:

Harris, who enters his fifth NFL season in 2019, set career highs in starts (nine), interceptions (three) and tackles (46) in 2018. Since joining the Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2015, Harris has appeared in 51 games with 17 starts for the team.

Hill, a veteran entering his fourth NFL season in 2019, appeared in all 16 games and started eight for the Vikings in 2018. The Jacksonville, Florida, native originally joined the NFL with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent in 2016 and was signed from the Jaguars practice squad to the Vikings active roster on November 15, 2016. Hill has appeared in 28 career games with 15 starts, all with the Vikings.

Harris received a second-round tender and Hill received a right-of-first-refusal tender.

Mannion joins Minnesota for his fifth NFL season in 2019. Drafted 89th overall (3rd round) in the 2015 NFL Draft by St. Louis, Mannion spent four seasons with the Rams. Mannion has played in 10 career games with one start.

The Oregon State grad spent the 2018 season backing up Rams QB Jared Goff through the regular season to Super Bowl LIII. Mannion was active for all 19 games and appeared in three contests, completing two passes for 23 yards. Seeing action in five games (one start) in 2017, the Pleasanton, California, native was active for all 17 matchups and completed 22-of-37 passes for 185 yards and no interceptions on the season. In 2015 and 2016, Mannion played in one game each season.

Taylor joins Minnesota after spending the last four seasons with the Denver Broncos. The Sherman, Texas, native originally signed with Denver as a rookie free agent on May 9, 2015, and spent his debut season on the club's practice squad as the Broncos went on to win Super Bowl 50 over Carolina. The former Rice Owl made 26 career appearances with two starts while in Denver, recording 29 receptions for 351 yards and two touchdowns during the 2016 and 2017 seasons before being placed on the physically unable to perform list prior to the 2018 season. Taylor worked with current Vikings coaches Gary Kubiak, Rick Dennison, Brian Pariani and Klint Kubiak during his time as a Bronco. Taylor started 37 of the 42 games he appeared in at Rice, totaling 175 receptions for 2,585 yards and 20 touchdowns.
