Vikings Head Coach Mike Zimmer
Big division game on the road this week. Chicago is a really good football team. Very explosive offensively, terrific defensively, do a good job with special teams. We are going to have to play very well Sunday night to be able to win.
Q: How do you think the week of practice has been being outside?
A: Good. The grass has been great. It is probably going to be similar to this Sunday night. Like I told the team, we can only control what we can control.
Q: Is there a different feeling among a team with a game that has big implications as far as playoffs?
A: I think there is still a long ways to go. I haven’t noticed any difference in the way they are. They are not uptight or anything like that.
Q: How do you make up for David Morgan’s blocking?
A: We’ll just figure out a way.
Q: What do you think of Tyler Conklin’s game action?
A: He has done pretty well. He has done a good job in both areas, protection and blocking and routes.
Q: Is blocking what Tyler Conklin has needed to make up on most since he got here?
A: He’s been a tough guy since he’s been here. That part has never bothered me.
Q: What did you think of Anthony Barr’s week of practice?
A: Looking pretty good.
