Q: How do you decide whether you practice inside or outside?
A: We just try to get off the astro-turf this week. We were on it two days this week.
Q: What is Dalvin's availability do for what you can do offensively?
A: It adds a lot. The flexibility that he has in the run game, pass game. His speed to the perimeter, open field stuff.
Q: What does it mean to you to have the Wilf's commitment to philanthropic efforts and donating Nike shoes to every staff member for the Crucial Catch campaign?
A: They are great owners. Anything we ask for they do for us. They're great people. Very positive. I think the community here is really lucky to have ownership like this.
Q: After reviewing the film, what are some of things you liked that you got back to and what are some of the things you still need to work on?
A: I haven't watched Arizona's tape for five days. I don't know. We are on to a different team, different game.
Q: Overall are you pleased with the defense bouncing back like they did?
A: Yes, we will see how we do this week. I don't care about last week, it's over with.
Q: What does George Iloka give you?
A: He is a big, physical body. Smart, steady. He is a good player.
Q: Is he fully comfortable with all of the tweaks with all of the defense since he's been away from your team?
A: I think so. You'd have to ask him.
Q: How does David Johnson look to you on film this week after missing all of last season?
A: Really good. Catches the ball well. They line him up as a receiver some. He has power to run in between the tackles. He's got the speed to get to the perimeter, has a good bounce out. He is a good back.
Q: Has it been natural for Jalyn Holmes to move outside based on what he did in college?
A: I don't know how natural because we've been working him there inside quite a bit. But yes, he did play there in college. He moved around a little bit in college.
Q: What attributes does Jalyn Holmes have that you like?
A: He has got really good quickness. He has excellent size, good toughness.
Q: Will you have Riley Reiff on Sunday and is this a long term or short term injury?
A: We will not have Riley Reiff on Sunday.
Q: Are you concerned about Riley Reiff's situation long term?
A: No.
Q: What do you think the biggest challenge is for rookie quarterbacks?
A: I guess speed of the game. Ask them that. I don't know. I wouldn't know. I'm not a rookie quarterback.
Q: What did you notice about your leadership from preventing it from snowballing?
A: We have good leadership on this team. They're good people. I think they do a good job in the locker room. They communicate well with the guys.
Q: Is there a chance Everson Griffen could be back before the bye week?
A: I don't know. Right now all we are is concerned about Everson's health and well-being and when he is back, he is back.
