Meet the captains of your 2017-2018 Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders!
As a third-year veteran and first-year team captain, MVC Kali combines raw talent and relentless hard work that will help her successfully guide the 2017-2018 MVC. Kali developed quickly as a leader during her first two years on the team, and she always knew that one day she wanted to help lead the distinguished group of women that the MVC is known to be.
"Since I was a rookie, it was always a goal to be a team captain, to be a leader on this team and help develop the love for the Vikings, for the MVC, and for the culture we uphold," Kali said.
Kali has danced competitively since she was 3 years old, developing her technique at Larkin Dance Studio, one of the nation's most elite dance studios. She then went on to win two National Championships with her university's dance team. Her dance experience has given her the strength, technique, and creative mind required to be a Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader. She has helped choreograph countless dances for our team and will continue to do so as head of our choreography committee this season. She has placed in the Top 10 at MVC auditions and has traveled to Mexico City and the 2015 Hall of Fame Game while representing the Minnesota Vikings. Kali set the bar high for her small team, and they are looking forward to taking advantage of every opportunity that may come their way this season.
"This season, one of the goals that my small team has set is to be a strong dynamic team that can deliver and is always willing to do anything and everything that is asked of us," Kali said. "We do not want to hold anything back, and we want to truly embrace every opportunity that is given to us!"
