Medtronic, Vikings Begin Multi-Year Partnership at U.S. Bank Stadium & In The Community

Eden Prairie, MN(September 14, 2015)** – Medtronic (NYSE: MDT) and the Minnesota Vikings today announced a 10-year partnership that includes the introduction of Medtronic Plaza, the three-acre gateway between downtown Minneapolis and U.S. Bank Stadium; the sponsorship of Medtronic Club inside the stadium which will showcase medical technology innovations invented in Minnesota; and a joint community service program.

"Our sponsorship is a symbol of our continued commitment and presence in the state. Medtronic Plaza will be a gathering place available to the community 365 days a year."

Located adjacent to the world's largest five pivoting glass doors on U.S. Bank Stadium's west side, Medtronic Plaza will provide a place for people to meet and celebrate before and after games, concerts and events throughout the year. The space will also be used to support local community initiatives and for events that advance health and wellness in the Twin Cities.
