The Vikings returned to Winter Park following the "mini bye" weekend that came after playing on Thursday night.
Last week's loss against Dallas dropped the Vikings to 6-6 on the season, with a game in Jacksonville looming.
After the first day of practice this week, the Vikings know what's ahead during the final four-game stretch.
"Only thing we can do is focus on the next game lock up," said WR Stefon Diggs.
The Vikings players weren't the only ones to return to the field today.
Coach Zimmer was back coaching his team for the first time since undergoing emergency eye surgery last Wednesday night.
"He's the toughest guy I know," said G Alex Boone. "I'm just glad that he's back."
Players were glad to have their head guy back as they feed off of what he brings to the table.
"He just expects more of us and that's what you want in a head coach," said WR Adam Thielen
Up next for the Vikings are the 2-10 Jacksonville Jaguars. Despite their record, they aren't being written off in the Minnesota locker room.
"You can never underestimate an opponent," RB Jerick McKinnon said. "Watching them on film, they have good players that can do a lot of good things."
