VIKINGS SIMULCAST PRESEASON TELEVISION AND RADIO AGAIN IN 2016
The Vikings Entertainment Network (VEN) used the Vikings Radio Network broadcast team of Paul Allen and Pete Bercich again for the 2016 Vikings preseason television broadcasts. The preseason games aired on KMSP FOX 9 will be simulcast over the Vikings Radio Network and its flagship station KFAN 100.3 FM.
“Hundreds of thousands of Vikings fans enjoy listening to PA’s exciting calls and Pete’s thorough analysis on the radio during Vikings games,” said Vikings Executive Vice President of Sales & Marketing and Chief Marketing Officer Steve LaCroix. “This is a unique opportunity to also allow our television viewers to listen to the voices of the Vikings.”
Former Vikings punter Greg Coleman continued his sideline reporting role, while former Vikings linebacker Ben Leber handled sideline interviews and social media updates.
Info on 2017's preseason broadcasts will be posted later this year.
