• Spent the 2013-14 seasons in the Canadian Football League with the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

• Won the 101st Grey Cup with the Roughriders following the 2013 season. Recorded 5 special teams tackles in the game.

• Played with the Iowa Barnstormers of the Arena Football League in 2012.

OFF THE FIELD Earned his degree in Learning and Organizational Change in 2011 from Northwestern...Went on to earn a master’s of arts in sports marketing and public relations...Son of Jeff and Carla...Father, Jeff, wrestled collegiately at Miami (Ohio)...Worked with Special Olympics in high school...Awarded Riders Outstanding Community Service Award in 2014 for his service in the community including hospital visits and a blood drive, in addition to the Habitat for Humanity efforts.

2013 Elevated from the practice squad to the active roster for the final 11 games of the regular season....appeared in 3 playoff games including a winning performance in the Grey Cup where he recorded 5 special teams tackles...7 total special teams tackles in the playoffs...2nd best on team with 16 special teams tackles on the season...2 defensive tackles with 1 TFL as a back-up linebacker.

COLLEGE Played 4 (2008-11) seasons at Northwestern while redshirting as a freshman (2007)…started 13 games his senior season…finished with 92 tackles, 5 interceptions, 1 sack and 2 force fumbles…named First team All-Big Ten as well as Academic All-Big Ten honoree…started 13 games his junior season…finished with team-high 107 tackles, 3 interceptions and 1 forced fumble…named to Second team All-Big Ten and to the Academic All-Big Ten team…finished his collegiate career as the school’s all-time leading tackler (301)…also added 12 interceptions, 6 forced fumbles and 23 pass breakups over 52 games for the Wildcats.

PREP 2nd Team All-Ohio in 2006...Two-time 1st-Team All-District, All-County, All-Conference in 2005-06...127 tackles, 4 INTs during senior season...also played Tight End and Place-Kicker going 53-55 on PATs and 4-8 on FGs...finished career with 277 tackles and 18 INTs...2006 Division II State runner-up...also lettered in baseball and track...played basketball for 1 season...4 years on high honor roll.
