• Spent the entire 2015 season on the Vikings practice squad after signing as undrafted free agent after the 2015 NFL Draft.

• Played collegiately at University of Minnesota and Rochester Community College as well as high school in-state at Caledonia in rural SE Minnesota.

OFF THE FIELD Majored in recreation, parks and leisure...Has completed student-teaching duties and aspires to a career in coaching and teaching after football...Avid outdoorsman, enjoys hunting and fishing in his free time along with golf...Father, Carl Fruechte, is state championship-winning high school coach at his alma mater, Caledonia HS...Has 2 sisters, 1 older and 1 younger, who competed collegiately in volleyball at Minnesota State, Mankato and Winona State, respectively...The Vikings honored Caledonia High in spring 2016 for their state title in 2015 and consistent success as Minnesota High School Football Program of the Year with a special 2-day Town Takeover.
