• 5th Michigan Wolverine drafted in franchise history and 1st since S Tripp Welborne in 1991.

• 4-year special teams contributor in Ann Arbor, full-time starter at LB his senior season.  

• Recorded 25 tackles (16 solo), 3.5 TFLs and 2.0 sacks in 4 career games against rival Ohio State.

OFF THE FIELD Graduated a semester early with a degree in economics from Michigan...Both of his brothers played football collegiatly. Alex, was a captain of the Harvard football team and Ben’s other brother, Sam, played sprint football and rugby at the U.S. Naval Academy...Earned Michigan’s U-M Athletic Academic Achievement award and was a 2x Academic All-Big Ten selection (2015,2016).

PREP Attended Hudson High School...named AP Division I All-Ohio 1st-Team his senior season...Earned 3rd-Team All-State honors as a sophomore after racking up 105 tackles, 5 sacks, 500 rushing yards, 300 receiving yards and 300 passing yards...totaled 1,300 total yards of offense and 14 TDs as a senior. Chose Michigan over other offers including Stanford, Tennessee and Ohio State.
