HUDDLE UP TO FIND A STADIUM SOLUTION!
For nearly 10 years Minnesotans have debated the Vikings stadium issue. In that time the State of Minnesota has helped build new facilities for the Minnesota Wild, the Minnesota Twins and the University of Minnesota football program. Now the Vikings 30-year lease at the Metrodome has expired, making the team the only NFL franchise without a stadium lease. Fortunately there is a lot of activity and momentum at the State Capitol. Governor Dayton and State leaders from both sides of the aisle are working hard on a legislative package that is expected to be introduced soon.
In order to reach a stadium solution in 2012, we need your help. By following these simple guidelines, together as a team we can resolve the issue in 2012:
1) Host a “Stadium Huddle” on Super Bowl Sunday.
Having a party to celebrate the big game? Why not share the new stadium message with your friends and family? Sign up to host a “stadium huddle” and we will provide you with everything you need, including a downloadable stadium petition for partygoers to sign. By being a host, you will automatically be eligible to win the following cool Vikings prizes:
- Adrian Peterson autographed action photo
- Jared Allen autographed football
Following the party, send your petition to Minnesota Momentum at 9520 Viking Drive, Eden Prairie, MN 55344.
3) Contact your legislators. YOUR VOICE REALLY DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
5) Tell your family and friends to support a stadium solution.
