Not only does football offer youngsters skills to play the game - but more importantly, football provides them with skills and opportunities to succeed in life. The entire Minnesota Vikings organization supports youth of all ages participating in the game we all love, both on and off the field. We recognize that these youngsters are the future of the NFL, making youth football a top priority of the organization.

The mission of the Vikings of Tomorrow youth football program is to give back to the community by introducing amateur leagues to the fundamentals of football at the professional level. By working hand-in-hand with various youth football programs and partners throughout the region, the Vikings of Tomorrow program is designed to support, promote and expand the sport of amateur football and the broad appreciation of the game.

Since its inception in 2007, the Vikings of Tomorrow youth football program has provided thousands of amateur football players (ages 8-14) with the unforgettable opportunity to play on the same field as the pros on the same day as the pros in either pregame, halftime or postgame scrimmages at Mall of America Field, including the annual Vikings of Tomorrow Mascot Challenge. Aside from showcasing their talent on the field, the youth players also have the chance to cheer on the Purple from the stands, appear on the video board and receive a commemorative photograph to capture the lasting memories of their experience.
