vikings.com looks back on the week what was at Winter Park via a new feature appropriately titled "Winter Park Rewind."
After a long and eventful offseason, the Vikings formally gathered at Winter Park this week for phase three of their offseason conditioning program, betting known as OTAs. Mike Wobschall went into detail on just exactly what goes down at OTAs, previewed exactly what to expect as phase three rolls on into the summer, and finally gave us ten storylines to watch.
Tuesday, May 28
After everyone took some time to enjoy Memorial Day on Monday, Vikings players and coaches got to work early on Tuesday with their first OTA of 2013. Long passing touchdowns by the offense along with a newcomer to the Vikings secondary stood out during this session. Plus, we caught up with three guys who are expected to make big impacts on the Vikings offense this season in

Wednesday, May 29
The Vikings opened the doors of Winter Park up to the local media on Wednesday for OTA #2, which meant Head Coach Leslie Frazier addressed the group about what he’s witnessed two OTAs into the process.
Wobschall also addressed the Vikings depth chart at the cornerback position, where there is much youth after the departure of Antoine Winfield but certainly not a lack of talent.
After practice we caught up with a pair of players making position changes for the Vikings this offseason, with
Ponder was a guest on NFL Network’s “Total Access” to hit on him becoming more of a leader, some of his new weapons on offense and much more.
As fans may know, Patterson is relatively new to the game of football, so while he’s immensely talented, he’s also raw and has much work ahead of him in order to be an impact player in year one.
While we don’t want to overlook OTAs or the upcoming minicamp, the Vikings formally announced that the club will be heading to Minnesota State University in Mankato for the 48th year in a row for Verizon Wireless Vikings Training Camp. Thursday, May 30
Things got underway earlier than normal on this day at Winter Park as the club headed out immediately after OTA #3 to the Howe Campus of Hiawatha Community School for the team’s eighth annual playground build. You can view a video recap of the day here as well as a photo gallery.
