Vikings K Blair Walsh has been named the NFC’s Special Teams Player of the Week for his Week 12 performance against the Green Bay Packers. Walsh went a perfect 4-for-4 on FGs, including a 47-yarder in regulation and a 35-yarder in overtime, and added 5 kickoff touchbacks, both season highs.

This is Walsh’s 4th Special Teams Player of the Week award, joining Gary Anderson for the most in team history.

Walsh won the weekly honor in Week 1 of his rookie season against the Jacksonville Jaguars, at the St. Louis Rams in Week 15 of 2012 and Week 17 of 2012 against the Packers.

Other Vikings kickers to win the award are: Gary Anderson (4x), Ryan Longwell (2x), Eddie Murray and Fuad Reveiz (2x).
