Vikings, Browns Issue Final Injury Reports

Posted Sep 20, 2013

Vikings

TE Rhett Ellison, who has helped out significantly in the fullback role during this three-game stretch where Pro Bowler Jerome Felton is suspended, has been ruled out for Sunday’s game vs. the Browns after suffering a knee injury last Sunday vs. Chicago.  Ellison did not practice all week.  Rookie FB Zach Line will likely see many more snaps as Adrian Peterson’s lead blocker.

All other Vikings players are listed as probable: DT Fred Evans (shoulder), G Brandon Fusco (shoulder), LB Erin Henderson (heel), T Phil Loadholt (knee), S Mistral Raymond (shoulder), S Harrison Smith (shoulder), C John Sullivan (knee) and DT Kevin Williams (knee).

Greg Jennings did not practice on Friday but Head Coach Leslie Frazier said Jennings was absent due to a personal matter and that he'll be good to go come Sunday.

For the Browns, QB Brandon Weeden (right thumb) was ruled out on Wednesday and third string QB Brian Hoyer will start in his place.  Today the Browns also ruled out LB Quentin Groves (ankle). OL Shawn Lauvao (ankle) is listed as doubtful.  DL Ahtyba Rubin (calf) is questionable, while DT Desmond Bryant (wrist), WR Josh Cooper (shin) and DB T.J. Ward (shoulder) are probable.
