Stefon Diggs Repping Vikings for NFL UK at London Events

Posted Jul 13, 2017

In anticipation for the NFL London Games, a number of NFL players have jumped across the pond during the offseason to help promote the four games that will take place in London this season.

Stefon Diggs is currently representing the Vikings, who will face the Browns at Twickenham Stadium on Oct. 29.

Diggs participated in a sold-out “NFL UK Live” event at Kings Place, London, hosted by Sky Sports’ Neil Reynolds on July 11. The evening featured a Q&A session and offered fans additional insight on the NFL.

Diggs was joined by Ravens DT Brandon Williams, Dolphins WR Kenny Stills, Rams P Johnny Hekker, Cardinals S Tyrann Mathieu, Browns G Joel Bitonio, Saints DE Alex Jenkins and Falcons TE Alex Gray, previously a professional rugby player in England.

On Wednesday, Diggs and the other players teamed up with a number of local young people for a flag football competition in which the purple “Vikings” squad took home the trophy.

Diggs jumped into the middle of the action for a play and congratulated team members emphatically.

Diggs also found time to take a stab at a Guinness World Record when he and Stills each fielded consecutive punts. The outcome of Diggs’ attempt will be revealed at a later date.

Diggs will remain in London through Friday before returning to the States to gear up for Vikings Training Camp. Full team practice is slated to start Thursday, July 27, in Mankato.
