During his post-practice press conference on Friday, Head Coach Leslie Frazier announced that
“He was okay,” Frazier said of how Peterson looked during Friday’s final practice of the week. “He did okay yesterday. Probably going to put him at doubtful for this game.”
When pressed on if this was an organizational decision to rest the team’s franchise player in a game with little on the line, Frazier said that wasn’t the case.
“If he could play, just like last week, he’d be out there,” Frazier said. “If we felt like he was ready to go, he’d be out there on Sunday.”
Peterson’s backup, Toby Gerhard, has been ruled out of Sunday’s game due to him reinjuring his hamstring last week vs. the Bengals.

All others for the Vikings are probable: LB
For the Lions, their own superstart, WR Calvin Johnson, didn't practice all week due to a knee injury and will be listed as questionable for Sunday's game.
