The team captains have proved themselves as accomplished veterans and have earned the honor of guiding our team for the upcoming season. Coming from diverse dance backgrounds and combining a wide range of strengths, this set of captains is one of the most qualified in MVC history. Meet the captains of your 2017-2018 Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders!

Kerry Anne

Back for her second season on the MVC and first year as an Ambassador captain, MVC Kerry Anne is looking forward to her new role on the squad and the opportunity to grow the Ambassador program.

“I'm thankful for the opportunity to have a bigger impact this year as a team captain,” Kerry Anne said. “I hope to make the biggest impact by helping to grow the Ambassador program and to continually show the community how much the MVC as a whole has to offer.”

Having lived in Virginia, Colorado and Florida, Kerry Anne took a leap of faith and moved to Minnesota a few years ago and has loved her new home here ever since. She knew from the start that becoming an MVC topped her list of goals she wanted to accomplish after relocating.

“Wanting to become more involved in the community and make a great set of girlfriends, I decided to start training to audition to become a Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader upon moving to Minnesota,” Kerry Anne said. “I had heard so many positive things about the organization as a whole and really fell in love with the dream of becoming an MVC.”

She has competed in pageants in Colorado, which helped her to be a strong candidate for captain of the MVC, and she is looking forward to competing for Miss Minnesota this coming year. Kerry Anne has established herself early on in her career as an MVC, placing in the Top 10 this year at MVC auditions and continuing to strive for improvement every day since our season began. Her number one priority for her small team this season is to ensure that the values and strengths of every teammate is utilized, allowing them to be the very best MVC they can be.

Kerry Anne’s poised and professional demeanor will allow her to lead the team effortlessly through the chaos and commotion that is inevitable on a Vikings game day. Of all the wonderful experiences, she was able to be a part of last season as a cheerleader, the Vikings home opener most stood out to her.

“My favorite memory from game day last season was our home opener game against the Packers,” Kerry Anne said. “Cheering at my first-ever NFL game, during the first regular-season home game in the new stadium, against our biggest rivals was already a dream come true; and then we won the game, to top it off! I will never forget the energy that surrounded me that day, and it will always be one of my favorite MVC memories.”
