MVC Keep Busy in the Offseason

Posted Jan 31, 2012

As this unusually warm winter month dwindles away and our Vikings wrap up the 2011 season, the MVC have kept plenty busy.
Even though we weren’t cheering on the field, we were still out in  the community adding our purple and gold pride to an array of events  throughout the Midwest. You may have seen the MVC performing  at the Rogers dance show, supporting the community at a cancer benefit, a walk for muscle dystrophy at the Mall of America or even participating in a kid’s fit day  with Lifetime Fitness.

January is also the month the MVC get to shower our Pro Bowl  cheerleader with gifts and support at her send off party. Last  week, Peyton left us in awe as she debuted her costumes (custom made by The Line-Up)  and the choreography she would be performing in Hawaii. We were so  impressed and proud that she was the one to represent the MVC.

Of course as one season ends, thoughts move on to the next. So, in  addition to doing community appearances, the ladies are starting to  prepare for 2012 auditions, which are quickly approaching. The  open auditions will unfortunately conclude the MVC season. However,  January has given us time to reflect on all the success the 2011 team  has had together. We have become another team of lifelong friends and  were given this rare opportunity to create many unforgettable  memories. Our fans have been a huge part of all those memories, so we  appreciate you guys for being the best and most supportive fans in the  NFL! We love you and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Happy New Year and always, Skol Vikes!
