Posted Jul 19, 2013

The Minnesota Sports Facilities Authority (MSFA) and the Minnesota Vikings announced today that they are negotiating with one concessionaire candidate, ARAMARK’s M Hospitality, to provide food and beverage service in the new Multi-Purpose Stadium. ARAMARK provides service to 13 of the 32 NFL team venues including Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois, Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas, Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia Pennsylvania.

"ARAMARK’s M Hospitality proposal highlighted the unique and sophisticated strategies that will aid in creating an unparalleled experience in the new Multi-Purpose Stadium,” stated MSFA Chair, Michele Kelm-Helgen. "Bringing on ARAMARK early in the process will allow us to benefit from their extensive experience as we finalize the stadium’s concessions facilities."

The Minnesota Vikings and the MSFA have decided to pursue negotiations with ARAMARK for many reasons: history of innovation; unparalleled guest service; understanding of the Minnesota market; and their ability to create a unique experience for visitors.

"We are partnering with ARAMARK’s M Hospitality to give Vikings fans a game day experience that will be like no other," said Lester Bagley, Minnesota Vikings Vice President. "This is our next step in gathering a world class team for the new world class stadium."

ARAMARK’s other Minnesota clients include: University of Minnesota; 3M; Hamline University; BASF; General Mills; United Health Group; and General Mills.
