10 Vikings-Titans Numbers of Note: 16.7 yards/PR

The Vikings will close their preseason slate against the Titans at 7 p.m. Thursday. Until then, here are 10 numbers of note:

10 — sacks recorded by the Vikings this preseason, including 2.0 by Tom Johnson, who also has a team-high five quarterback hurries; the Vikings allowed 5.0 sacks; the Titans have recorded 2.0 sacks, including one by Minnesota native Karl Klug, and allowed 3.0

16.7 — average yards gained by Vikings punt returners (284 on 17 returns); Minnesota has allowed an average of 8.8; the Titans have averaged 2.2 yards (11 on five returns) and allowed an average of 12.3 yards per punt

23.0 — tackles for loss by the Vikings this preseason (5.75 per game)    

42 — number of times out of 54 seasons total that the Vikings have finished their preseason slate at .500 or better; when that has happened, the team has finished the following regular season at .500 or better 31 times

44 — points scored by the Vikings in second quarters this preseason, making up 50 percent of their 88-point total; the Titans have scored 33 in second quarters this preseason, 54.1 percent of their 61-point total
