Game Summary

After clinching a playoff berth for the second consecutive year with a 30-10 victory last weekend over the Bengals, the Minnesota Vikings (11-2) will head back on the road this weekend for the fi rst of two nationally-televised games, taking on the Carolina Panthers (5-8) this Sunday, December 20, on NBC’s Sunday Night Football. Kickoff at Bank of America Stadium is set for 7:20 p.m. (CT).

This will be the ninth time the Vikings have met the Panthers and only the second time the teams will play in North Carolina. The Vikings lead the overall series 5-3-0, including the last two wins (2006, 2007). Minnesota is 15-13-0 on SNF.
