The ninth queen's post truss was recently installed at U.S. Bank Stadium. The 11 total queen's post trusses will run north and south and support the roof's metal decking and ETFE material.
The last of the stadium's five tower cranes was dismantled this week. The overall reach of the tower cranes ranged from 230 feet to 267 feet.
As part of the new stadium's concrete "topping out" milestone, the final pour for the ring beam was completed, marking the completion of the structural concrete in the project.
After placing six of the seven ridge truss sections already at the new stadium, construction crews recently connected the remaining gap of the roof ridge truss between the east and west with a "chord" of steel.
