The Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders All Stars are overseen by the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders Head Coach and Coordinator Tami Krause and are a competitive youth program that rehearses under the direction of coaches and MVC Alumni Krisan Shimpa, Kristina Ferdig, Sarah Johnson, Rachel Phelan and All Star coordinators Melissa Glancy and Kristina Ferdig. The MVC All Stars have the opportunity to perform on the Mall of America Field Plaza prior to one of the Vikings home games; as well as various events throughout the season including performances at the Mall of America! The MVC All Stars will also compete locally and nationally again this year.
The MVC All Stars are made up of three elite groups divided by grades. The Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders All Star team members are selected during an audition process held during the MVC Junior Cheer program each fall.
This is one of the first competitive Junior All Star squads in the NFL! One of our biggest goals is to challenge the young All Star members to become better dancers and performers, by providing them with unique dance opportunities, while also promoting life skills.
As the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders enjoy giving back to the community, the MVC All Stars also take time to volunteer in the community through various charity events and activities as a team.
Continuing their success, the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders All Star teams have won many National Championships and other prestigious awards since their first year in 2007. These teams continue to grow and excel each season. What an amazing group!

As Head Coach Tami Krause says, "Once a MVC, always a MVC." That is why each year, many talented and hard-working women join the A*Team. The A*Team, introduced in 2007, consists of Minnesota Vikings Cheerleader Alumni, from 1984 (the inaugural year of the MVCs) to the present, who continue to enjoy a shared love for dance in support of the Minnesota Vikings and current MVCs. Six months out of the year, the team meets weekly to participate in fun choreography and fantastic workouts led by our team members and coaches, and many guest instructors. The A*Team performs before every Vikings home game on the Plaza to help get the crowd fired up, and occasionally performs with the current MVCs during in-game end-zone routines. The A*Team members are a diverse group. Mothers, professionals and wives, we enjoy each others' friendship and support and learn from each another. One thing we all share is a love for the MVC family and the positive impact it’s had on our lives. It's wonderful to see the same passion across every decade of cheering. We love our Vikings, and we are thankful for the opportunity to continue to be a part of the MVC family! GO VIKES!

The 2012 MVC Training Program consists of 38 ladies who have been spending their summer dancing, working out, practicing interviews, cheer motions, technique, and most importantly, making new friends! Every Tuesday night, the ladies spend two hours working towards self improvement and getting ready for the 2013 MVC Auditions. Besides practice time together, this incredible group of ladies are preparing to perform at a Vikings home game, and the MVC holiday show in November. Once again, the Training Program has had a personal trainer in every other week to help motivate, give new ideas and ensure the Training Program is in top physical condition. The ladies have been learning different styles in dance to help the group be as versatile as possible, and are pushing themselves towards their own personal best. They are an amazing group- full of talent, charisma and kindness - we are excited to see what the future holds for all of them!
