From studio dance to high school dance team she was involved with the competition lines at an early age. Nikki danced at the University of St. Thomas where she was a member of their first UDA Jazz National Championship team in 2007. Nikki went on to become a member of the Minnesota Vikings Cheerleaders where she cheered for 3 years. Nikki has also coached varsity dance at the high school level, taking her teams to state and earning recognition from her peers as Minnesota Association of Dance Team Coaches 2009 Rookie Coach of the Year.
Nikki remains active in various facets of the dance community. She teaches competitive Jazz & Hip Hop at Stella Dance Studio in Prescott, WI, and is a Legacy Dance National Champion choreographer for the junior division. She works as a choreographer and leader for the Minnesota Vikings Junior Cheer program and had previously served on the MVC Alumni Executive Committee for five years. She is also a busy mom and wife, raising a little dancer of her own.
