Quote: "Life's like fishing. You can make a bunch of casts and catch nothing. Eventually, one of those casts will lead to a fish. Don't ever give up."

Place I’ve traveled and why: In 2014, I traveled to Africa for vacation. I had the opportunity to explore many hiking trails, go on a safari, and participate in shark diving. I am fascinated by the variations of architecture and the cultural norms. I would encourage everyone to explore the world while they can!

Charity and why: I love the Cheerful Givers, in Eagan, Minnesota. This is a nonprofit organization helps children in need celebrate their birthday by creating birthday gift bags through shelters and food shelves.

My dream job: Join a company where we promote our positive message and have the ambition to do good for others.

On the top of my bucket list is: Pay it forward at every seventh store I enter. There are many stressors in the world especially financial concerns. I would love to help uplift someone and make them feel important by paying it forward.

My hero: My brother, best known as my #1 fan. I have always admired how he always puts others before himself and has a unique outlook on life. His passion for winter and snowmobiles compares to no one else. His remarkable jokes and sarcasm can light up the room, making the toughest crowds find laughter. I have learned so much from him. I am truly blessed to grow up with my hero.

Name an inspiring/influential woman in your life: My mom is my most inspiring/influential woman in my life. She had taught me patience, appreciation, time management, selflessness, and lifelong skills forming me into the person I am today. She has been encouraging and supportive through every avenue in my life. I would not be who I am without her.

How do you define empowered? Empowered is having a presence of confidence, poise, and assurance.

Where do you see yourself in five years? I see myself graduated from a four year university with a bachelor’s degree. Exercising 3-5 days a week. Making home cooked meals. Enjoying my job as a full time employee. Setting goals and accomplishing them. Working hard. Volunteering on a regular basis. Having the most lights for Christmas on my block and the most fireworks on the Fourth of July. Staying busy and having fun!

Where are you in your family line up? I am the oldest in my family followed up by a younger brother who attends high school. We have grown up as best friends who bug our parents just because that's what parents are for!

What was your favorite subject in school? I loved participating in Physical Education class in high school. It helped stay active and spark an interest in weight training. I had the honor of earning the award, Woman Athlete of the Year, for consecutive years.

Do you have any pets? I do not have any pets. I am constantly doing something, it wouldn’t be fair if I left my pets home alone all the time.

What is your favorite workout tip? "Do what you can to better yourself each time." This is a great workout tip and life tip. Every chance we get is an opportunity to keep improving.

My best beauty secret is:  A beauty secret I would advise is to wear sunscreen in the sun and don't forget to moisturize. Protecting your skin is important no matter what age. You can't replace skin, so take care of it!

Why did you decide to audition to become an MVC? From little on, I have always believed one day I could see myself as a MVC. I built up enough courage to take on the tryout process. With months of training and hard work, I successfully met my goal, earning a spot on the 2017 MVC Team!

What are you most looking forward to your Rookie Year? I most looking forward to be an MVC at events in different cities. Being a part of the Vikings organization, I will be able to explore Minnesota and meet passionate fans. And of course, I am ecstatic to join in on the game day action!

Most valued lesson learned as an MVC: It's not about the fancy title or role you play. It's about being your best self at all times. Being your best will always be enough!
